Golf for Kids Sake- Buck a Hole Challenge
A new decade is here, and so is – officially – BBBSY’s 50th Anniversary!
*NEW* Come celebrate with us at our Golf for Kids Sake virtual challenge!
We are sorry that we aren’t able to see all of you at our annual Golf for Kids’ Sake on May 21st 2020, but we look forward to hopefully seeing you all in 2021!
As Big Brothers Big Sisters of York (BBBSY) is continuing to adapt to providing virtual programming for our youth, we are excited to announce our very first virtual golf fundraiser– Buck a Hole Challenge!

We hope each time you’re out on the course this summer, you will think of us.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Golf for Kids’ Sake is one of the largest fundraising initiative for young people in York Region and the funds raised are necessary to provide our mentoring programs.
We have been creating impactful mentoring relationships in York Region for 50 years, and hope you can join in celebrating – virtually!
During this time of social distancing, it is more important than ever that we protect and support meaningful mentoring relationships for young people in York Region. We are committed to continuing our work and finding new ways to deliver life changing, developmental relationships that foster resilience in the face of adversity. We know that exposure at a young age to adversities like trauma, mental health, abuse and loss of a parent can negatively affect the developing brains and bodies of children and youth. Safe and caring relationships are a powerful force in combating these negative effects. This is why Big Brothers Big Sisters of York is working hard to keep all of our matches connected virtually, as well as create new online matches between volunteers and children in the community.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, or even if you would just like to connect, we are a phone call or email away. Please, take care and stay well.
We hope that we can count on your support!
